I’m really excited about this because I’ve never visited before and I’m planning a trip myself so I was super pleased to see just how cheaply you could put together a trip… so cheap in fact I just had to share it !
The Forbidden Garden is an absolutely outstanding attraction which has finally had it’s recognition by TripAdvisor by being award the Second Best Attraction Park in the whole of the United Kingdom… The prices are really reasonable and with plenty of cheap hotels around the area you can make a really good little break out of it.

What age range does The Forbidden Corner suit?
The Forbidden Corner is suitable for all age ranges, from children to adults. Please be aware that some section may scare younger children, but these sections can be avoided.
How long does a visit usually last?
A visit to The Forbidden Corner usually takes about 2 hours but people normally will spend a lot longer, you may go in and out of the gardens as many times as you like, but visitors must vacate the gardens before closing at 6pm.
Are the gardens suitable for pushchairs / wheelchairs?
There is only very limited access for wheelchairs and pushchairs in the gardens. We recommend that you bring a type of carrier for very small children. Unfortunately, large parts of the attraction is not accessible for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
What sort of food do you serve in the cafe?
The Corner Café serves freshly cut sandwiches which can also be made to order with various fillings, Scones, Sausage rolls, Yorkshire fruitcake & Wensleydale cheese, biscuits, cakes, ice cream etc and all sorts of hot & cold drinks.
Do you have a picnic area and is it seated or grass areas?
We do have a picnic area, which has both seated and grass areas

We have free coach and car parking available on site.
What is the nearest bus service / train station?

Do you have toilet facilities and are they disabled accessible?
We have toilet facilities adjacent to the car and coach parking bays, which are disabled accessible, also at the café entrance.
Are dogs allowed in the gardens?
Sorry, there are no dogs except guide dogs allowed in the gardens.
