Departing from one of five UK airports, we’re whisking you off for a two or three-night getaway in dazzling Venice. Arguably Europe’s most romantic holiday destination, the magic of Venice’s winding cobbled streets and endless canals is not to be underestimated. During your time in the Italian gem, you’ll stay at one of two stunning hotels in Mestre, sat just outside of Venice. Hotel Centrale and Hotel Aaron both offer beautifully adorned modern rooms complete with an ensuite bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning to ensure that you have a comfortable stay. Stepping outside of your hotel, you’ll come face to face with the most populated part of the region which is home to its own historical landmarks. Head to the 16th-century Villa Foscari to admire its fresco-adorned interiors decorated by Battista Franco and Giambattista Zelotti, or the 19th-century Forte Marghera, a fortress which is now home to many an art exhibition. Then, head across the Ponte della Libertà into Venice proper by either bus, train, or tram to kick start your Italian adventures.

Famed worldwide for its romantic ambience and endless maze of idyllic canals, Venice hardly needs an introduction – but whether you’ve visited before or have never been, there’s always something new to see and do! Top sites such as the Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square are not to be missed, whilst a wander through the never-ending cobbled streets or a gondola ride through the labyrinth of canals is the perfect way to spend a romantic afternoon. Of course, no Venice trip is complete without a romantic gondola ride, so why not hop aboard and float through the idyllic patchwork of canals that wind their way through the city, enjoying the melodious voice of the gondolier? You’ll have a truly memorable time…
